- A community confident in our sincere desire to try solve a health problem, rather than exploit it.
- A community confident in our honesty, integrity and transparency.
- A community aware of our activity and presence without being intrusive.
- To refrain from experimenting on animals for the purpose of human medical research, i.e. to use human cell lines and tissue harvested in a clinical setting, and to use computational and mathematical models via a new branch of biology referred to as "Systems Biology".
- To support and facilitate the emergence of many small groups across
Australia and overseas in an analogous manner to franchise, that:
- replicate our policy and procedure
- operate under our licence
- have a strong sense of autonomy to determine their research destiny

We endeavor to source revenue from non-public activity (e.g. teaching revenue, intellectual property, grants and corporate entities) to meet costs associated with administration and public relations.
Administration and fund-raising accountability is via an independent auditor (Greg Ledger Pty Ltd, Chartered Accountant) and several government departments (Department of Consumer and Employment Protection, Department of Liquor Gaming and Racing, Australian Securities and Investment Commission, Australian Tax office).
Our funding to date has been derived from the general public and corporate entities, plus grants from associations and government.
